Princess Ines of Bourbon-Sicily

The noble Carrelli Palombi dei Marchesei
di Raiano gave the bride a beautiful red
coral tiara. Although small, the
tiara was held in place with a double
brass ring.

The bride wore a beautiful gown
made of white silk, by Pierre
Balmain that had been worn
by her mother, Princess Anne
of Orléans at her own wedding
in 1965. The dress had long sleeves,
and a well fitted bodice, with long
full bell shaped skirt, not flaring too
much from the waist.

The dress featured beautiful embroidery
of lace through out the entire dress.
The neckline featured small flowers
snug at the neck. The long sleeves,
upper portion of the dress on front,
and back, featured flowers and leaves.

The well fit bodice of the dress featured
beautiful flur-dy-lys motifs (symbols of
the house of Bourbon) . The bottom of the
skirt was lined with the same flower
embroidery on the upper portion of the dress.
