Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark

Princess Anne-Marie's heirloom Irish
lace veil is anchored by her mother's
Cartier tiara . Both respectively were
wedding gifts to Princess Margaret of
Connaught, the mother of Queen Ingrid,
from Irish lacemakers and the Moslem
ruler of Egypt in 190x. The only other
piece of jewelry is a diamond cross that
had been a gift from Queen Frederika.
The young princess' high-waisted
wedding gown was made in white
silk by the Danish fashion designer
Holgar Blom. Panels of lace
were sewn onto the dress. blah blah
