Princess Maud of Great Britain & Northern Ireland

When Englandís Princess Maud
married the future King of Norway
she wore a wreath of Orange Blossoms
and Myrtle in her hair instead of a tiara.

Attached to her wreath of flowers was a
beautifully embroidered lace veil.
The veil probably belonged to her family.

Her beautifully fitted white silk dress, was
lined with the same flowers that were in
her hair. It was lined along the bottom of
her skirt, and along the neck line of her
dress. The dress had short sleeves, the
shoulders pouffed. The skirt was tightly
fitted to the floor. The skirt was a small
bell shape.

The bridal train was about 3-31/2 meters
long. It was made of the same material
as the bridal dress.
