Sophie Rhys-Jones

Sophie wears a diamond tiara from
HM Queen Elizabeth II personal collection.
The tiara was designed and remodeled by
Crown Jeweler David Thomas . It consists
of three beautiful open work scroll motifs.

The brides necklace and earrings were a wedding
gift from Prince Edward. They are made of black
and white pearls with interspersed white gold rondels.
Personally designed by Prince Edward the jewels were made
by Asprey and Garrand.

Sophies full length viel was made for it
to be 1 inch longer than her ivory silk
train. It was hand-dyed silk tulle. It was
decorated with hand done spotted crystal detail.

The dress was a long, fitted coat with
long sleeves and a long ivory train.
The dress was made of hand-dyed silk organza,
and hand-dyed silk crepe. Also consisted of
325,000 cut glass and pearl beads, all hand done.
Detail of cut glass and pearl beads were around the
neck, sleeves and train.

The rather small bouqet was comprised of small ivory
roses, scented stephanotis, lily of the valley, and
ivory freesia.

Shoes were made of silk crepe by Gina.
